If I'm going to be frank, I'm a coupon whore. There, I said it, it's out in the open. There really should be a Couponer's Anonymous. I'm not perfect with it yet, but I think I do petty darn good.
On this page, I will share my favorite blogs that have helped me save money when I shop. The authors of these blogs put in a lot of work to make sure you get the most for your money. I could never do it like they do, so that's why I'll leave them with the hard work and just link you!
Where I got started with coupons:
Save at Home Mommy is local to me, but what she has to offer is great for anyone anywhere. There is a lot of information on her blog, so I suggest you take a deep breath, and Start Here.
If you don't have your coupons organized, then I think you should start! There is NO WAY I could do this without some kind of organization.
I have a shoe box, or actually it's like a scrapbooker's box? Anyhow, I have my shoe box divided into sections (I used wide note cards, you could use anything thick and put a tab on it), each section has categories; GROCERIES: Frozen, Produce, Deli, Dairy, Cereal, Kids Snacks, Beverages, Condiments, etc. HOUSEHOLD: Toiletries, Laundry, Medicines, Paper Products, etc. PETS: Dog food, Cat food, Medications. So on and so forth. From there I paper clip multiples together, like if I have 2 or more of the same coupon, and place them in their category. This is my stock pile and I pull from here to put into my binder.
In addition to my shoe box, I have a SAHM Coupon Binder. Of course, you could make your own, but when when she's done it all for you? I LOVE mine! I have the purple one, it's my favorite color, so why not?! It's very well organized, sturdy, easy to clean, and comes with great information on how to set it up.
I was going to take a picture and show what mine looks like on the inside, but it's in my Jeep, and it's 12:49am. I think I'll stay inside!
If you clicked over to see her binder, you noticed it has separate sections so you can label by store. That's exactly what I did. Behind each store's label I have two coupon organizers with specific categories depending on which store it is for. I have even more coupon organizers for coupons I always keep with me, like Restaurants, things I always shop for, and freebies. I keep the most current add in each store's divider along with a specific shopping list and the coupons that match with the sales.
How you go about it is completely up to you, this is just my method. It works for me whether I have my two monster children with me, or I'm by myself. The BEST advice I have recieved in my couponing adventures is "Do NOT buy on impulse!" If you don't have the coupon, and you don't need it right now, DON'T buy it! Wait until you have coupons and stock up. I think I'm pretty well stocked up on Old Spice body wash, deodorant, Toilet paper, Dove body wash, toothpaste, laundry detergent, Bounce Dryer bars, Dish detergent, cat food.... Ok, the list could go on forever. Stocking up is the key.

How I make money for doing nothing:
I do the Swagbucks thing, I use this to search the web instead of Google. Randomly I'll win Swagbucks. When I've earned so many, I can redeem them for prizes and gift cards. I've only redeemed them for Amazon Gift cards because it's easy, and I shop a lot on Amazon!
It's getting way too late, so I'll add to this sometime this week! Good luck on saving money!
